Welcome

We invite you to join us for Convocation on Tuesday, September 3rd at 8:30 a.m. in Emerson Hall.

Convocation marks the official start of the school year. We will celebrate with remarks by Head of School Laurie Lambert, Dean of Students Sara Gibbons, Academic Dean Wesley Simon, and student speakers Ijeoma '25  and Zoe '25  from the senior class. The entire community is asked to reflect on and sign the Stoneleigh-Burnham School Honor Code, read by Sara '26 from the junior class.  

Students should be in elevated dress for this event (a little dressier than the casual everyday school clothing). Day and boarding students will gather with their class deans/classes between 8:00 and 8:15 a.m., and Convocation begins at 8:30 a.m.

Following Convocation, students will go to their first-period classes, and parents and guardians are invited to join us in Geissler Gallery for a reception.
