Tuition Assistance FAQs
How is it awarded?
Grants are awarded annually based on demonstrated financial need and available funding.
How do I apply for tuition assistance?
Stoneleigh-Burnham uses the Clarity Application to assess need. First, attend a free Clarity Tuition Assistance webinar - Oct 28 - 6:30pm Eastern Time, Oct 29 - 7pm Pacific Time, or Dec 10 - 5:30pm Pacific Time. A recording of a past webinar is available here.
Then, create an account on the Clarity Application website. The application is user-friendly, mobile-compatible, and typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. There is a $60 fee. If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support, as well as email and phone support at [email protected] or 206-210-3752.
What information and documents do I need to submit with my tuition assistance application?
Please refer to the Clarity Application Family Guide for detailed instructions and a list of required documents.
What are the deadlines?
The deadline for submitting the completed tuition assistance application, including all necessary documents, is December 15th for returning families and February 15th for new families.
I didn't receive tuition assistance my first year; can I apply in subsequent years?
Generally, returning students who did not apply for or receive tuition assistance in their first year are unlikely to receive aid in later years.
