Welcome to the nest!
When you step onto the Stoneleigh-Burnham School campus, you'll find students from across the globe, and just like you, they're motivated to make an impact across campus and graduate from Stoneleigh-Burnham School with the skills to be leaders on a global stage.
ESOL Program
All students whose first language is not English need to submit an official TOEFL or Duolingo score with their admission application. During your admissions journey, we may recommend English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) support to students who would benefit. We work closely with each student to ensure their English proficiency grows and progresses. The focus is on developing English proficiency and helping students navigate their academics.
I-20 and Visa Information
As an international student, you will receive an acceptance email with a letter of acceptance along with an enrollment agreement. Once your family completes the enrollment checklist, and only then, Stoneleigh-Burnham School's SEVIS representative will create and send you an I-20 form electronically.
Pro Tip:
Being able to show you've already paid your tuition in full may help to ensure a successful visa interview. The original I-20 form must be kept with the student’s passport for the duration of their stay in the United States.
International students at SBS are fully immersed in campus life. They are frequently elected to lead our student body, but also as dormitory proctors, team captains, and academic leaders.
A dedicated International student coordinator and advisor, a Multicultural Club, and space to celebrate and share your home customs and traditions mean you'll quickly find a sense of belonging and community at Stoneleigh-Burnham School.
