Blue Key: Lucy ‘26
Lucy is a day student from Vermont and joined the SBS community in Grade 7.
As a day student, Lucy arrives to class in the morning, eats lunch in the dining hall (and sometimes stays on campus for dinner, too), and on the weekends either spends time at home with her family in Vermont or remains on campus for one of her team’s athletic events or a fun weekend activity.
What has your experience been like as a day student?
My experience as a day student at SBS has been really fun. I feel like I know the school and the people, even as a day student.
Where is your favorite spot on campus?
My favorite spot on campus is probably the Grade 8 day student space. Every grade level has a space designated for all day students to share and enjoy. It’s a really fun environment and everyone feels comfortable there.
What's your favorite class?
My favorite class would be Humanities (which is a blend of English and history). I feel really connected with my class and it’s a safe space for all students.
What sports/clubs/activities are you involved in?
I am in GSA, the Gender and Sexuality Alliance club, as well as drama and tennis during the different seasons.
