Biography

Hannah holds an MFA in Art/Drawing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a BA in Printmaking from Smith College, and a Certificate in Green Printmaking from Zea Mays Printmaking. Her teaching is informed by her interest and training in social justice, mindfulness, social emotional learning, and sustainable art materials/methods. She has taught preschool through college level art and is the recipient of a 2006 Kahn Foundation Fellowship in interdisciplinary studies as well as recent artist residencies at Studios@MassMOCA and Turkey Land Cove Foundation. Her own studio work focuses primarily on drawing, painting, and printmaking and has been exhibited locally and internationally, most notably in several shows across the U.K. and at the Manhattan Graphics Center. Hannah serves as the Visual Arts Department Chair, the Grade 10 Dean, and lives off campus in Greenfield with her family.
