Trustee Charlotte Newton ’71 sponsored four members of The Dance Performance Project (DPP), a performing group for advanced dancers at Stoneleigh-Burnham, to attend a day of dance classes at the Boston Conservatory in Boston, MA on Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

DPP students Erin LeBlanc ’19, Ira Hysi ’20, Joy Lundberg ’20, and Serafina Walker ’21 were able to participate in three dance classes with current Boston Conservatory students. They took ballet class from Marcus Schulkind, Limon modern with Kurt Douglas, and Jazz with Jim Viera.

DPP is for advance dancers interested in furthering their performance opportunities. Students perform frequently during the year at benefits, schools and other locations, experiencing the joys and trials of a performer on tour.

SBS students had a fantastic time and are so grateful for Charlotte’s generosity.
