Superfan, John Alter sat down after the game and gave us the flow of the game.

Buoyed by the irrepressible Melissa '25 in the stands (her shriek caught the admiring attention of one of the refs), anchored by forty-seven rebounds and ten blocks (Lucy '26 and Lily '26 being the twin towers), led by senior Avi Rowland-Roth who crowned their Owl career with a championship, enlivened by the fast breaks of Faline '26 and the shooting of Lexi 25, supported by the bench of Nelly 25,  Kiki '28, Oyinade '27, and Juliette '26, the Owls of Stoneleigh-Burnham defeated the Pioneers of Eagle Hill, 55 to 25, and became the champions of the 2023-2024 RVAL basketball season.

The Owls are a young team who have worked hard this season, winning the allegiance of their fans, with a combination of size, speed and skill.  Composed of veterans and novices, the Owls of 2023-2024 have spread their wings & hooted.  Champions!
