Welcome

Despite beliefs to the contrary, the long, cold, dark of New England winter has given way to the sunshine, flowers, and traditional rites of spring on the Stoneleigh-Burnham campus.  And this year, the School is looking forward to all of spring's renewal, change, and excitement with the hiring of Head Elect Laurie Lambert.  As part of Laurie's ongoing orientation to the campus community, Laurie has scheduled a May 24th visit to SBS.  The visit will allow Laurie to continue getting to know the community and for the community to get to know her as well.  

As detailed in a recent letter to the SBS community, the visit will include meetings with students, family, and employees and allow remote families to visit with the Head elect via Zoom.  

Laurie, who will be joining us from the Winchendon School, where she is currently Head, was profiled in the Spring ‘23 issue of the bulletin.  Laurie recognizes that it will be a busy time as both her current campus and SBS prepare to graduate their current cohorts of seniors, while Laurie (and her husband Tony) will be moving to Coleman House as she begins preparing for the upcoming fall.
