Lucas Nocera is a Rhode Island local but originally emigrated with his family from Argentina. He graduated from Hofstra University in 2018, earning a BA in Psychology and a minor in Neuroscience, while also being actively involved in the Anthropology Department. In his free time, Lucas co-leads immersive educational trips abroad, having travelled with students to Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Argentina. Having most recently worked in the field of adolescent psych research, Lucas is excited to join Stoneleigh-Burnham’s community this year and trade his research lab for a classroom. Lucas will be teaching IB Psychology, 9th-grade World History, and the Art of Argument course. He will also be joining the SBS team as a dorm parent and serve as the Debate and Public Speaking Team coach.
