Meg began studying piano at the age of three and probably began singing even earlier. She earned her BA in piano performance from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth in 2005 and in 2010 completed her MM in collaborative piano at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where she was awarded a teaching assistantship by the Fine Arts Center granting her the opportunity to teach an undergraduate course on music and visual art. Involved in musical theater since an early age, she has vocal coached and music directed productions for the UMass-Dartmouth Theater Company, the Smith College Leading Ladies, and the UMass-Amherst Theater Department. Meg is also the keyboardist for Northampton-based rock band Walking Ghosts, which recently completed a successful tour of the Midwest. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Meg now calls western Massachusetts home, and loves being a houseparent on campus, where she lives with her beloved Boston Terrier, Uzi.
