College acceptances are arriving, and with each decision, we are celebrating the Class of 2026 and the thoughtful, intentional work they’ve invested in their college search. Through our personalized college counseling program, graduates leave SBS with clarity and confidence about what comes next.

Through the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP), students develop the skills colleges value most: critical thinking, strong communication, intellectual curiosity, and a global perspective. As they advance into the IB Diploma Programme, these skills are further strengthened through advanced coursework and independent research, fostering independence, self-awareness, and the academic readiness necessary for success in college and beyond.

College counseling at Stoneleigh-Burnham is highly individualized and reflective, beginning as early as 9th grade. Students establish a strong foundation through exploration and guidance, then meet regularly with the college counselor as their interests and goals take shape. By junior year, they engage in essay-writing and interview-preparation workshops and connect with college representatives through campus visits, fairs, and our Case Studies Program.

This intentional approach results in well-balanced college lists grounded in fit, opportunity, and long-term goals. The outcome is not just strong results, but confident, informed decision-making. We are proud to share that, year after year, Stoneleigh-Burnham maintains a 100% college acceptance rate.
