Stoneleigh-Burnham equestrian riders competed in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) Regionals on Sunday, Feb. 24 at Mt. Holyoke College. See results below.

Upper school

Open: Jax Morgan ’19 took 1st place over fences, 1st place on the flat, and qualified IEA Zone 1 finals over fences and on the flat.

Intermediate: Katie Kowalyshyn ’20 took 6th place over fences and Cynthia Wang ’20 took 8th place over fences.

Novice: Community rider Ella Mackenzie took 4th place over fences.

Middle School

Intermediate: Jess Romano ’24 took 1st place over fences (individual), 3rd place over fences (team), 5th place on the flat (individual), and 3rd place on the flat (team). Jess qualified for IEA Zone 1 finals over fences.

Novice: Veda Raskin ’23 took 2nd place over fences and 2nd place on the flat.

Beginner Walk, Trot, Canter: Julia Yuan ’23 took 3rd place.

The middle school team finished in 3rd place overall.
