William Therrien directs the Summer Programs department. He also serves as Assistant Dean for Community — overseeing the Clubs program, the weekly Housemeeting, and Community Alliance, as faculty advisor. Willy coaches tennis in the spring and chairs the Buildings and Grounds Committee. He also taught in the History department, and organizes the annual Middle School trip to Washington DC. Before Stoneleigh-Burnham, Willy ran a large resident camp in New Hampshire, administered outdoor education programs, and served on the founding faculty of a progressive charter school focused on project-based learning in Plymouth, MA. He holds a BA in English and studied in the MEd program at Antioch New England Graduate School.
