Susan Mattei earned MS and MBA degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass) and holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to joining Stoneleigh-Burnham in 2015, she worked at Bay Path University and Northfield Mount Hermon in roles that included Annual Giving, Major Gifts, Planned Giving, and Parent Giving. Mattei also directed communications for the College of Engineering at UMass and then served as Assistant Vice Chancellor of Alumni Relations for the University. A former board member for District I of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Mattei was a presenter at the 2020 National Coalition of Girls’ Schools Virtual Conference. She lives in Shelburne, MA with her husband Joe, principal of The Shelburne Architects. They have four children and six grandchildren.
