A middle schooler at heart and a lifelong activist, Bill Ivey helped found the middle school program at Stoneleigh-Burnham. He currently serves as Middle School Dean (Grade 7 Dean, as well) and teaches various courses in both the middle and upper schools. His love of innovative, research-based learning began as a student (he majored in French at Middlebury College and received an M.A.T. in French from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst) and continues to this day. He is also the Advisor for Diversity/Social Justice to the Board of Directors of the New England League of Middle Schools. He is married with one son, and lives in Shelburne Falls, MA.
