Stoneleigh-Burnham is proud of the quality of the food it provides to our community. We serve students, faculty, staff and, on occasion, guests of the school, and there is something for everyone (including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options).
For breakfast, there are eggs, pancakes, tofu scramble, bagels, home fries, fresh fruit, and a cereal station. Lunch includes a made-to-order panini station, a salad bar, and many hot options, including soups, that change daily. Dinner offerings include healthy options such as lasagna, chicken stir-fry, and more. Sunday brunch is a highlight with made-to-order omelets, waffles, french toast, and fresh fruit.
The chef works to incorporate food from the various cultures represented at Stoneleigh-Burnham into the menu each week. Students feel more at home when they are able to share their culinary traditions. Our chef is always willing to work with students who have food allergies or restrictions and works to clearly label the ingredients in our dining options.
The Dining Hall itself is a warm and inviting space with large windows providing sunny spots overlooking the campus grounds. Wooden tables and chairs provide warmth and a homey feeling. Students, faculty and staff share meals together, fostering a sense of community and family. And, just outside the Dining Hall is a kitchen garden, planted and maintained by Dining Hall staff.
