Inspiration Lab, a feature of the National Association of Independent Schools, has published an article about Stoneleigh-Burnham’s participation in a videoconference that connected our students with NASA.

The videoconference was held on Stoneleigh-Burnham’s campus and hosted by NASA’s Digital Learning Network at the Kennedy Space Center. Students were able to speak directly with Dr. Lenore Rasmussen, a polymer chemist who is working on synthetic muscle that may one day be used to make prosthetics or a variety of items that are useful both on Earth and in space.

Inspiration Lab was created by NAIS, a membership organization for independent schools, as a place to share stories about exceptional and innovative programs at independent schools.
