SBS Top School at Public Speaking Competition

The Stoneleigh-Burnham Debate and Public Speaking Society team earned the distinction of top school at a public speaking competition held at Northfield Mount Herman on April 22, 2018. In addition, two students took second place as individual competitors and one student earned first place.

Coach Karen Pleasant announced the results of the competition at Housemeeting on Tuesday, April 24. Five students competed: Sophia Phillips ’20, Frannie Joseph ’18, Beatrice Brynda ’20, Siri Sundaraneedi ’18, and Miles DeClue ’18.
