Stoneleigh-Burnham School held its annual Poetry Festival on April 13. The event marked National Poetry Month and celebrated student poetry with readings and a poetry contest.
The three prize-winning student poems are: Cherished Imperfections by Amelia Opsahl ’21, Twilight’s Lullaby by Gwen Healy ’19, and Ingrained Pain by Miles DeClue ’18. Read the students’ poems on our school blog, “View from the Nest.”
Guest poet Paul Mariani read from his work, and entertained questions in a lively discussion. Read more about the event and our guest poet here.
