Stoneleigh-Burnham School (SBS) will once again host the the Poet’s Seat Poetry Contest awards ceremony, and SBS student Nadya Baum ’20 will read her poem at the event. Nadya was chosen as one of five finalists in her division (youth division for ages 12-14) of the contest.
The Poet’s Seat Poetry Contest awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Capen Room. The event is free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Friends of the Greenfield Public Library, the contest is open to all residents and students in Franklin County.
Last year, Isabela Cusano ’19 won first place in her division for her poem “Summer Dreams.” Read the poem here. Cusano and fellow SBS student Erin LeBlanc ’19 were finalists last year in the youth division for ages 12-14 and both read their poems at the awards ceremony.
