Teacher Andrea Tehan Carnes wrote a post for the Stoneleigh-Burnham School blog, “A View from the Nest,” about the experience of participating in the Ragnar Trail New England race just before the start of the school year. Seven students ran, along with Andrea, and two others volunteered at the 15-mile trail race taking place over two days in the late summer in Northfield, Mass.
“These girls made me so proud, they brought me to tears,” Andrea wrote in the blog post. “I am in awe of how strong and beautiful they all are, and am so excited for what lies in their futures.”
