Dear SBS Parents and Grandparents,
During its 150th Anniversary, Stoneleigh-Burnham has been hard at work making improvements to benefit our children.
As a graduate and the parent of a new student, I have been impressed by the School’s recent progress and the success of its students. Under the leadership of Head of School Stephanie Luebbers, SBS has completely renovated the Jesser Science Building; repurposed a classroom suite to make a bright and cozy new Middle School wing; finished several campus beautification projects; and has begun replacing windows, doors, and carpeting in the Geissler Gallery arts building. Fitness Center and Equestrian Center projects are being planned.
Another SBS accomplishment we can be proud of is that every Class of 2019 International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate was successful – placing the 100% success rate of SBS students significantly well above the international average of 78%. Quality education like this requires significant resources. Funding for academics, athletics, clubs, facilities, and the arts is vitally important. And the School is fighting to keep a quality SBS education affordable for families through financial assistance.
Donations from parents have been a tremendous help in bringing the School this far. But there is still so much we can do for today’s students and future generations. Your Annual Fund gift made by December 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by SBS Trustees up to a total of $50,000. That’s double the impact on our children.
Please give today. Your gift, no matter the size, is important. You can help this school continue to serve girls with the educational programs they need to thrive in today’s world.

P.S. It’s exciting to know that SBS Trustees will match all gifts until the $50,000 cap is met. You can make your online gift here.
