Kaleigh Intrator, an 11th grader from Florence, MA, was awarded the Interscholastic Equestrian Association Sportsmanship Award following the IEA Zone 1, Region 7 Finals held on March 1st. The award qualifies Kaleigh for the National Sportsmanship Award, which will be announced in June.

The award is sponsored by the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association and is awarded based on equestrian participation, scholastic and extracurricular involvement, characteristics that exemplify good sportsmanship and positive peer role modeling, and academic record.

The winner of the national award will receive a $500 scholarship from the IEA. To learn more about the award, please see the IEA website.
