Ann Sorvino, dance teacher and Chair of the Performing Arts Department, announced at Housemeeting this week that five students were selected for the Dance Performance Project.
Claire Lane ’16, Mary Mason ’16, Sophie Hathaway ’18, Erin LeBlanc ’19, and Victoria Subritzy Katz ’17 were selected for the Dance Performance Project after auditions earlier this week.
The Dance Performance Project is for advanced dancers interested in furthering their performance opportunities. Students perform frequently during the year at benefits, schools and other locations, experiencing the joys and trials of a performer on tour. An audition is required, and students performed ballet, modern/contemporary, and jazz dances as part of their auditions.
