The Stoneleigh-Burnham School Riding Program, directed by Mina Payne Williams '78, remains nationally recognized as one of the most extensive and challenging scholastic programs in the country. Riders at Stoneleigh-Burnham receive instruction in Hunters, Jumpers, Equitation, Dressage and Combined Training. Our equestrian program accommodates students of all levels, from the experienced competitor to the recreational rider to the absolute beginner. The program's competition schedule includes many USEF, USEA, NEHC, and IEA competitions both on and off campus. Stoneleigh-Burnham riders find numerous opportunities to improve their riding skills, learn about the operation and organization of horse trials and horse shows, and have fun through lessons, competitions, clinics, volunteerism, and the Riding Club.
