Each year, thousands of companies with matching gift programs give generously to non-profit educational institutions. By matching employee gifts, businesses are assured that their charitable resources are supporting causes that are important to their employees.
If you or your spouse work for, or are retired from, a participating company, you can double, even triple the value of your gift to Stoneleigh- Burnham School.
How does a matching gift program work?
Each time you make a gift to the Stoneleigh-Burnham School, your employer may match it. For example, if you contribute $150.00, your employer may match your gift ranging from 50% ($75.00) to 400% ($600.00) of your contribution. Your company's policy will prescribe the amount.
What are the advantages of securing a matching gift?
Your gift to the Stoneleigh-Burnham School is increased, helping to provide more resources for students and faculty. As the donor, you will be credited with the total contribution including the corporate match. Your match will also count toward your membership in our gift societies. For example, your gift of $500.00, matched one-to-one by your employer, will qualify you for membership in the 1869 Society, a level reserved for gifts of $1,000.00 or more.
