Multicultural Club & the International Program Sponsor Europe Week
This week, we celebrate Europe Week, the third in a series of six International Weeks organized by continent, when international students share their diverse cultures with the SBS community.

Our Tuesday morning Housemeeting kicked off the week with special presentations from students on food, cities, customs, geography, landscapes, and clothing from Hungary, Spain, France, and Germany.

On Wednesday, Janine L. '14 will demonstrate a German dance that she has prepared for Germany's Carnival and Head Chef Mike Phelps will be serving Hungarian Goulash for dinner.

On Thursday, students will host lunch table discussions on various topics concerning each European country represented, inviting members of faculty and staff as well as students to join the conversations and learn about each of these cultures.

On Friday, students are invited to greet each other in the languages spoken in Europe.

This weekend, students are invited to a British style tea with Ms. Logan-Tyson and to learn how to cook authentic European dishes with Spanish teacher Jess Durfey. You can see photos of their food and fun, as well as follow the events of the week, on our Facebook page.
